Site Manager – Offshore Production Unit, Dalstorp
Are you an experienced production leader with a passion for driving efficiency and fostering a collaborative work environment? Primo Sweden is seeking a skilled and motivated Site Manager for our Offshore Production Unit in Dalstorp (PC-DT). This role is critical to ensuring our production facility operates at peak efficiency, delivering top-quality results to key clients in the offshore and cable industries.
As the Site Manager, you will hold overall responsibility for the smooth functioning of the production site, including the management of equipment, facilities, and production processes. This role is ideal for a proactive leader dedicated to continuous improvement and lean production principles, with a focus on maximizing output quality and operational efficiency. You’ll work closely with the Business Unit Manager for Offshore and a core team of technical and sales professionals to drive growth and achieve strategic goals.
What You’ll Do:
- Oversee the entire production process, ensuring the highest standards of quality and performance.
- Develop and implement key performance metrics to monitor output, safety, and quality.
- Identify and address performance gaps, driving continuous improvement through lean principles.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, proper documentation, and reporting.
- Oversee facility maintenance and ensure production equipment is in optimal condition.
What We’re Looking For: The ideal candidate is a seasoned leader in production operations with a proven track record of optimizing processes and achieving strong results. You should bring a solid understanding of lean production, with experience in implementing standardization and automation initiatives to improve efficiency. A people-centered approach to leadership is essential, as you will be responsible for managing staff, setting priorities, and aligning team goals with company objectives. Key skills include strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to foster a high-performance, safety-focused culture in a dynamic environment.
Main Responsibilities:
- Ensure alignment with company policies and achievement of objectives within your area of responsibility.
- Support staff development, including conducting reviews, managing evaluations, and facilitating training.
- Lead compliance with quality and environmental management systems, ensuring proper documentation and reporting.
- Oversee production planning and reporting for both internal stakeholders and customers.
- Participate in cross-functional IP work teams to drive strategic initiatives.
- Manage inventory and stock levels to support efficient production.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key customers, working closely with the sales manager.
- Prepare and monitor the budget for the production unit.
- Ensure a safe and compliant work environment, adhering to relevant laws, regulations, and agreements.
